Jaswant Thada is a white marble mausoleum which was built in the year 1899 by Maharaja Sadar Singh in memory of his father Maharaja Jaswant Singh II and since then it has served as the cremation ground for all the rulers of Mewar. Spread over 72 hectares of land, the Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park in Jodhpur is a park near the Mehrangarh Fort. The park was created in 2006 to restore the ecology of a rocky area and encourage the greenery around it. The Park features more than 80 different plant species from the popular Thar Desert. Constructed in 1740, Toorji Ka Jhalra, commonly called stepwell of Jodhpur, is an intricate design of stepwell, one of the few remaining structures depicting the traditional water management systems of Jodhpur. Its impressive design attracts many tourists.

RANI PADAMSAR
